Events and activities

• Academic Year 2009-2010

1) Industrial Visit:

Industrial visit for B.E students from 27/12/2009 to 02/01/2010 and visited Balaji Amines and Smruthi Organics, Solapur and National Institute of Oceanography, Goa.  

2) Workshop Participation by Faculty:

Dr.I.D.Patil and Sharanappa A. are participated in one day training on “ISO 9000:2008” on 20/02/2010 at SSBT’s College of Engineering and Technology, Bambhori, Jalgaon.

Dr.I.D.Patil and Sharanappa A are participated in one day workshop on “Disaster Management” on 23/01/2010 at SSBT’s College of Engineering and Technology, Bambhori, Jalgaon.

S.B.Badgujar, Pallavi Pandey and Jayant Parpalliwar are participated in two days “Shram Sadhana” Teacher Training workshop on 9^th & 10^th July 2009.

3) Other Activities:

SemI:
Teacher Day Celebration &  Fresher welcome “REPLICATION-09” was held on 05^th  September,2009.
SemII:
Essay and Drawing Competition and  was held on 30^th  January2010.

• Academic Year 2008-2009

1) Industrial Visit:

Jalgaon District Co Operative Milk Unit Ltd., Jalgaon (Vikas Milk Dairy) on 26/08/2008.

2) Workshop Participation by Faculty:

Dr.I.D.Patil (H.O.D.) and Mr. S. B. Badgujar (Lecturer) are participated in “One Day Workshop on Patent Awareness” on 04 Aug 2008 at NMU, Jalgaon.

Dr.I.D.Patil has participated in 15 days “ Faculty Development program on Entrepreneurship Awareness” on Nov 2008, MITCON Jalgaon.

Shri.Sharanappa A has participated the training course, Aspen HYSYS Process Modeling (EHY101) at Pune during 16-18 March 2009.

3) Training:
All T.E. Students undergone 2 days training in “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp” on  Feb 04^th and 05^th 2009 at NMU, Jalgaon.

4) Other Activities
Sem I:
Teacher Day Celebration & Ad -Mad Show were held on 5 September,2008. Fresher welcome“ ADSORPTION-08” was held on 27 September,2008.
Sem II:
 Debate Competition was held on 24 January2009 and Farewell to the students of BE Chemical.

6.      Sharanappa A., K.S.Wani and Pallavi Patil communicated and accepted paper entitled “Biotechnology of Solid State Fermentation” in National Conference in “Biochemical Engineering” 12^th -13^th March 2010 in G.H.Patel College of Engineering,Vallabh, Vidyanagar Ananad,Gujarat.

7.   S. B. Badgujar and R. T. Mahajan “Purification and characterization of a cysteine protease of Thor latex” is presented in two days National conference on “Advances in Microbial Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Approaches” organized by Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Moolji Jaitha College, Jalgaon on 22 and 23 January, 2010.
