International Conference on Global Trends in Science, Technology, Humanities, Commerce & Management 2019 (January 18–20, 2019)
Three days International Conference on Global Trends in Science, Technology, Humanities, Commerce & Management 2019 (ICGTSTHCM 2019) was organized by SSBT's College of Engineering & Technology, Bambhori, Jalgaon at Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India during January 18 – 20, 2019 for the eighth successive year. Many researchers and academicians participated in the success of the conference. The theme of the conference was "Navigating the Future". The conference was focused on to understand, advance and promote the emerging global trends in Science, Technology, Humanities, Commerce & Management. The objective of the conference was to provide premier interdisciplinary forum for Scientists, Engineers, Academicians, Researchers and Professionals to navigate the future research for better mankind.
The International Conference provided a platform to exchange and share most recent innovations, trends and new research results on all aspects of Science, Technology, Humanities, Commerce & Management.
Opening the Conference:
The conference began with felicitations of dignitaries, Chief Guest Prof. Dileep N. Malkhede , Adviser –I (RIFD), All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Guest of Honour Prof. P. P. Mahulikar, Hon'ble Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon (M.S.), India, Guest of Honour Dr. Arkom Palamanit, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand and Ms. Seangjan Pinkanjanarat, Head of Research & Innovation, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, Prof.(Dr.) K. S. Wani, Principal, Prof.(Dr.) S. P. Shekhawat, G.B. Member, followed by Deep Prajwalan (Solar Diya & Candle lighting) & Saraswati Puja &Vandan.
Welcoming address was delivered by Convener Dr. G. K. Patnaik. He stressed the importance of Navigating the Future that needs a definite guide. Following the welcoming address, Dr. K. S. Wani, Principal and patron of the conference, outlined the role and contribution of every individual towards navigating the Future. Inaugural Address was delivered by Chief Guest, Prof. Dileep N. Malkhede. In his address, he highlighted the role of youth and the steps initiated by Government of India towards Navigating the Future. Stimulating speech was then given by Guest of Honour Prof. P. P. Mahulikar who reflected on past, present and future of education & research. The messages from Hon. Pratibha D. Patil, Founder Chairperson and Former President of India, Dr. Devisingh R. Shekhawat, Former Chairman, G. B. and Hon. Raosaheb Shekhawat, Chairman G. B. were read out. All the dignitaries e-Inaugurated the Journal Issue Published and officially opened International Conference on Global Trends in Science, Technology, Humanities, Commerce & Management 2019 (ICGTSTHCM 2019) on January 18, 2019.Finally, vote of Thanks was delivered by Convener Dr. P. J. Shah.
In his keynote address, Dr. Arkom Palamanit, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, discussed the various issues regarding scope of renewable energy sources. He presented some statistical analysis about availability and utilization of various types of renewable energy sources worldwide. He also showcased some industrial projects based on generation of bio fuel that he has completed successfully. He also shared technical details about various types of systems used for generation of bio fuels.
The conference was divided into three tracks as Science and Technology, Commerce & Management and Humanities with sevensessions.The sessions were chaired by renowned researchers and experts.
There were 173 submissions by 424 authors. Each submission was checked for plagiarism and reviewed by program committee members. The committee made a decision to accept 87 papers and those papers were presented in the conference. The accepted papers were published in International Journal of Management, Technology and Engineering, Volume IX, Issue I, JANUARY – 2019. The journal iswith ISSN: 2249-7455, UGC approved journal Sl. No. 45550, Impact Factor 6.3 and indexed by CrossRef DOIs Databases, EBSCO host, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, J-Gate, ProQuest, Ulrichs web etc. Overall acceptance rate of the research papers in this conference is 0.54.
Over 92 researchers registered for this conference as author, co-author or participant. The registered participants were not only from Maharashtra but also from Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab and Telangana.
The conference provided a rare opportunity for extensive discussion on global trends in Science, Technology, Humanities, Commerce & Management. The participants established what efforts should be invested to make these disciplines advance in response to the challenges posed by human and social development.
