Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC)
National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Board (NSTEDB), DST, Govt. of India has sanctioned Rs. 45.3 lakhs for establishment of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) in College from the academic year 2012-13. It is five years project. Dr. I.D.Patil, Professor & Head, Department of Biotechnology is the coordinator of IEDC.
The objective of the IEDC is to inculcate the innovation driven entrepreneurships in students. To fulfill this objective, IEDC sponsors student’s five innovative projects every year with financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh each including fellowship of Rs.30,000/- for students, organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, University Level Project Exhibition etc.
