About the Department
Department of Business Administration was established in 2008 that offers TWO years M.B.A. programme. The M.B.A. program is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. Currently the intake of the programme is 60 with specialization as Finance, Marketing & Human Resource Management. Curriculum of the M.B.A. Program focuses on holistic development of students by offering subjects like core, skill based, elective, projects & audit course etc.
The department has well qualified and experienced faculty with high repute research publications. State of the art infrastructure in the department provides adequate facilities for teaching and learning. It includes ICT enabled class rooms, AC Seminar Hall, Computer laboratory etc. The department also has a spacious library with books, projects reports etc.
Since inception, the department has succeeded in creating its reputation in this region. Students have bagged Gold Medals in the University Examinations and faculty members have received grants for research projects under VCRMS (Vice Chancellor Research Motivation Scheme) funded by KBC North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
The department imparts value added knowledge among students through Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular Activities like technical workshops, lectures by industry expert / alumni, industrial visits, management games, social activities, technical & business quiz, mock interviews, soft skill development program, entrepreneurship development program, Career Oriented Certification Course (Retail Management) etc. Collaborative & interactive pedagogy is the standard practice of the department.
